All our teams are required to work well together to be able to achieve their desired results. As a result, the People & Culture team often facilitate team development workshops that are focused on building high performing teams. These are typically fun, engaging and valuable workshops for all team members.
Previous team building workshops have included diagnostic tools such as the Myers Brigg Type Indicator (tool to assist in team communication) and the Emotional and Social Competence (Haygroup diagnostic tool). They were used to identify personal work styles in the context of working in teams. These tools have proved extremely valuable in assisting managers delegate to employee's strengths and also for individuals to build self awareness of how their behaviour and tendencies affect the team at large. Team building exercises have also included volunteer days such as our Locum team spending a day assisting Redfern Community Centre and our Office Support team investing half a day in creating a Team Charter.
